The “On-site scientific English course”, part of the ARROW Project lesson series, successfully started on April 8, 2019 at the Ulaanbaatar State University. Fifteen professors, researchers, PhD students from the Ulaanbaatar State University, chosen for their leadership and excellence in research, are attending the course. The participants hail from diverse fields of study, including chemistry, biology, mathematics-computer software, physics-electronics, informatics, foreign languages, Mongolian studies, and business administration.
The course runs for ten weeks, of which six weeks are dedicated to Academic English practices and four weeks dedicated to Academic Paper Writing practices. The course aims to improve participants’ academic paper writing skills through improving their English language skills and equipping them with necessary knowledge and practical exercises on research writing and publishing.
The project team at the Ulaanbaatar State University wishes all participants of the course, ARROW project partner organizations and universities, and the project coordinator ULPGC success in the implementation of the ARROW project.
