2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Mongolia and China. The two counties are good neighbors, good friends and good partners and important countries of ‘”One Belt and One Road” project which plays an effective role in the construction of China-Mongolia economic corridor. Establishing “Reading room” of China is a part of series cultural exchange activities to strengthen our relationships.
The opening ceremony was attended by head of the Culture and Arts Authority of Mongolian Government G.Erdenebat, vice-president of Mongolian Academy of Sciences, head of board of Ulaanbaatar State University, academician G.Chuluunbaatar, President of Ulaanbaatar State University, doctor of science, professor S.Baigalsaikhan, Senior specialist from Arts and Cultural Policy Department of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sciences and Sports of Mongolia B.Davaatseren, head of Press division of People’s Government, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region han Yun xiang, head of Press Division of Foreign Affairs Office, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Qui San wang, general director of publishing group of Inner Mongolia Zeng han, director of city cultural center (Ulaanbaatar) Mr Khasbagana, deputy head of People’s press committee Chen Li Bao, deputy head of translation division of arts Ts.Tsolmon.
1041 books of 486 types in Chinese have been donated to the library within this event. Also, about 100 books will be published in Mongolian and Chinese and it is possible to open e-library in the future.
